Southerlands Photo is a home owned home town photo store originated in Huntsville, Alabama in 1963.

Since 1965 Malcolm and Betsy Tarkington, daughters and various crew have been continually operating since that time!

We offer imaging from your film and digital sources, printing on Fuji Crystal Archive paperin silver halide for better permanence and brilliant colors.

You may order prints from your electronic media on line through this website or come to our store and order from kiosks using your memory card, memory stick, or smartphones.

We scan your prints to CD or DVD  or USB drive for $39.95 per hundred or order 35 mm color slides are scanned to DVD or USB drive for $49.95 per 80 slide Kodak Carousel tray.

We do incredible restorations through our service for $49.95 on pictures you think would be hopeless!

Film! Yes we do still sell and process film daily in color and conventional black and white. We also sell Ilford darkroom paper and chemicals.

We also sell equipment, Sigma lenses for your Nikon or Canon DSLR, or others. We sell a no new  cameras but many items to fit yours including Delkin memory cards, Domke and Lowe Pro cases, Manfrotto, D&S, etc. LED lighting, frames, albums, straps, remotes and lots of other camera items.

Film!  Remember?  It's back! We sell lots of 35 mm and 120 C41 film and black and white great brands by Kodak, Ilford, Agfa,Cinestill and others.  We also process daily and either print or send to your device, record to media or both, so dust off your old film cameras and bring them in for us to check out for good operating order.

We have lots of used photo equipment, and you never know what or when, so we post our new arrivals on our Facebook page with actual photos.
